Titanium Dioxide

We distribute Ti-Pure™ - titanium dioxide products by Chemours. It's a key component of some of the whitest, brightest, and most efficient applications — brilliant paints, pristine plastic, gleaming laminates, and durable automotive and aerospace coatings.

Ti-Pure™ - Titanium Dioxide for plastics

Titanium Dioxide Pigments by Chemours provide optimal performance and yielding outstanding results. Chemours is committed to maintaining a leadership position in product quality and uniformity. Ti-Pure™ titanium dioxide pigments are routinely tested for properties that are appropriate for the intended application of the product.

The results of the quality testing are collected and reported using SAP tools. The testing can include color, tinting strength, undertone, pH, resistance, screen-pack testing, acid solubility, nujol yellowing, and low shear dispersion. Excerpt from the product catalogue:

Ti-Pure™ - Titanium Dioxide for coatings

Ti-Pure™ titanium dioxide for paints & coatings enables superior performance, appearance, and easier application. Coatings formulated with Ti-Pure™ deliver excellent performance across a variety of applications.

Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) is the most important white pigment used in the coatings industry. It is widely used because it efficiently scatters visible light, thereby imparting whiteness, brightness and opacity when incorporated into a coating.

It is inappropriate to equate superior performance of TiO₂ pigment in paint with high TiO₂ analysis. For example, Ti-Pure™ titanium dioxide grades specified at 80–88% minimum TiO₂ content are markedly superior to higher content TiO₂ grades in hiding power efficiency in some highly pigmented flat paints. Ti-Pure™ - Titanium Dioxide for laminates

The Ti-Pure™ solution for laminates reduces downtime and keeps production lines running smoothly by ensuring a consistent product with minimal variation from reel-to-reel. Retention also enables high levels of paper runnability with minimized paper web breaks.

High-quality titanium dioxide (TiO₂) adds indispensable value to materials used in the manufacture of laminate flooring and furniture, particularly for customers who produce high and low-pressure decor papers, decorative foils, and print-based applications. Excerpt from the product catalogue:
